Seltzer Associates Care Management System (CMS™) and managed care policy and procedures provide for timely response and distribution of information involved in a workers’ compensation claim. All appropriate parties are updated as to any new information within one (1) business day, except in the case of a catastrophic injury where all information is shared immediately.

All information is received and logged into the Seltzer Associates Care Management System CMS™ allows users to send faxes directly from the desktop - no printed-paper is necessary before sending a fax. Inbound faxes are received by the server and are indexed directly into CMS®. All paper documents are scanned, within 24 hours, into the OHS Care Management System and attached to the appropriate file.

The Seltzer Associates Care Management System provides the Care Manager with appropriate treatment and period of disability by diagnosis and occupation. This data is based upon Interqual, Milliman & Robertson, MDA and the State of Florida standards. The Seltzer Associates CMStm provides the Care Manager with appropriate treatment and period of disability by diagnosis and occupation to assist in the management of the medical treatment.

Our care management program is pro-active, based on sound medical practices and aggressive return to work strategies.
